Cape Mounted Riflemen (colonial) cap badge and title badge, South Africa, pre-1913.

1. Cape Mounted Riflemen (colonial) brass cap/hat badge, South Africa, King's crown, 1902 to 1913.
2. Cape Mounted Riflemen (colonial) brass C.M.R. shoulder title badge. 1902 to 1913.
The C.M.R. policed in the former Cape Colony and was formed in 1878 from the Frontier Armed and Mounted Police (F.A.M.P.). In 1913, the CMR were incorporated into the new Union Defence Force as the 1st South African Mounted Riflemen.

Both are in used, but good condition with all lugs intact.

2. Cape Mounted Riflemen (colonial) brass C.M.R. shoulder title badge. 1902 to 1913.
